| 2008's early Christmas present to myself was the Athearn F45. A good looking locomotive and runs pretty nicely. I easily installed a Digitrax DZ-123 decoder inside the shell, the cutout in the frame above the motor was a perfect fit for it! Prior to programming it had a top speed of 180 scale mph! I've programmed it to a more reasonable 90 scale mph. |
