My AAA map shows Lone Pine Canyon road running from Wrightwood to Hwy
138. Signs point us onto residential streets in Wrightwood, but the
road eventually opens up and gives us a spectacular view of the valley
and snow capped mountains in the distance. It's a very clear day and
the view is awesome. Of course, I don't bother stopping to take a
picture of it!
